I received the Drive Medical Nitro Sprint walker on Monday October 27 to replace the Drive Medical Nitro Euro walker. On Friday October 31 When I sat down on the seat the screw came out of the back rest and caused me to fall back wards.
I hit the back of my head hard ( on blood thinner
on the wood floor and back felt like it went through the rib cage. I have a vertebrae fracture and multiple rib fractures A trip by ambulance to the ER landed me in the hospital and rehab for 17:days. I am still recovering from the fall.
The back rest needs to be replaced. Thank you!

Poor quality
I previously owned a Drive Scout 4 scooter which had some issues and needed some repairs during Covid. Parts werent available so I purchased a new Drive Scout 4XL.
It seems to me that the quality of this product has diminished.
I am currently having issues with the front basket. The screws were continuously coming loose. I would tighten them only to have them come loose a couple of weeks later.
I even used some thread lock in an effort to stop them from coming loose, however now it appears that the screws and the holes in the tiller post wont thread on properly. It might be time to try a different brand of scooter.
User's recommendation: Poor quality

I paid $10 at a Jewel store for these anti-slip strips that go in the tub. Filled tub, they came right off. Junk like people want seniors to die.

Verified BuyerRight arm on drive walker does not go up and down
Do you have a number for me to call. The left arm on my walker will not go up and down.
I love the walker and I know that 3 people I recommended it to have purchased one for themselves. My issue might be with the frame of the walker.
I use the walker 24/7 because I can't walk without it so it's critical I get this fixed. I would appreciate your assistance with this matter, sincerely Arla Norton
The right arm on my Walker probably for the last I want to say 8 months has not been able to move up or down without extreme force. It actually takes more force than I have to be able to move it.
It's very difficult to use if I can't adjust the height up and down. I bought this Walker on October 8th 2022.. I can't walk without the walker, so this is a big issue for me.
I appreciate you getting back to me thank you. My phone number is 310-936-**** and my name is arla Norton
Broken walker
This company was excellent and handled my questions beautifully, and referring me to the parts company which then sent me the part I needed. Well done Drive! I have referred dozens of folks to Drive for their outstanding products and service.

Verified ReviewerWarranty part support
Drive Medical states I am not their customer, even though I am using their Drive rollator. They state the VA needs to research, order and provide the tiny inexpensive part. Without it, my front carry bag keeps falling off.
I called needing a small warranty part which keeps the front bag from sliding off. It is a bag cap and couldn’t cost $3.
Drive says the VA is the holder of the warranty and not me, the end customer. They told me the VA would have to supply the part. Try contracting the VA and try determining who ordered the Drive Rollator. I will have to wander the halls of the VA asking questions until I find someone who might help.
The VA is an hour away in Durham, NC.
The VA needs to begin supplying the Vets a rollator other than Drive’s. They are too non-caring to be supplying products to Veterans.
Do u know how difficult it will be to find the office that sent me the rollator? Does Drive even care? This has soured my attitude toward Drive. You can bet I will forward this story to everyone I meet who asks about my rollator.
There are many other companies in the market. Now, I will forever bad-mouth Drive.
What a bureaucracy! You wont be the VAs provider long by failing to be reasonable about warranty support!
User's recommendation: Beware of Drive’s shoddy warranty support.

Verified ReviewerReturn rental wheelchair
First of all, there is no phone number in the wheelchair, so I have to search online. When I search, the number 877-224-**** is not in service.
When I go on the *** website to connect, it won't connect. I just got disconnected 2 times, and this message came up as if your problem is solved.
User's recommendation: Bad company to rent from. We got rental from another company and there is a phone number at the wheel chair when ready to return

Verified ReviewerShoddy Warranty Parts Service
Missing a little bag cap that keeps the front bag from falling off. Came off and lost very close to original delivery.
Could not cost more than $3. First, upon chatting with Drive, they insisted on making the caller use a paid, subscription tech support service. No way a warranty customer should have to pay to be helped by customer service. I called Drive on the phone and spoke to C/S.
They refused to replace the missing part, but told me to get the VA to replace the part. Good Luck finding who at the VA ordered the rollator. Drive appears to be banking on the consumer getting pissed and going away.
In my opinion the VA needs to use another company to supply rollator to the veterans. Drive Medical is no friend of the veterans!
User's recommendation: Insist upon the VA supplying a rollator by another company other than Drive Medical.

The company did call me back and they have a location near me that can fix the broken part. But I am away for 3 weeks so can’t get resolved until I return.

I did hear from them (whoever that is) last Friday and sent them a picture of the part along with a picture of the serial number on the rollator.

To get an Rx for my Mom’s 5 liter concentrator for a supplier while she’s traveling.
We had to go to an outside supplier because DeVilbliss doesnt supply a concentrator for customers who travel. My 90 year old Mother was told to carry her 5 liter oxygen concentrator with her through the airport & on the plane.
(Or mail-which shed need immediately upon arrival!) I had trouble finding a supplier but thankfully did. I found this is not the norm of other suppliers who will supply when their customers travel with contracts from other suppliers across the nation.
Very disappointed with the service. Most people would feel home bound.
User's recommendation: Possibly use a different supplier.

Verified ReviewerPoor product design.
This review is for a "Rollator rolling walker"
Model number 10257BL-1
Product is advertised as being "foldable"
This model is sort of foldable in the sense that it will fold but will not lock in the folded position.
So, as a disabled person needing this devise for support, how am I supposed to safely store this device if its flailing around opening itself while attempting to store it in my car?
How could such a simple and inexpensive item be missed.
Seems like a well built walker, but is rendered useless by this one item that was not included.
User's recommendation: Avoid this product, I can't believe this safety feature wasn't included.
